Wilkie creates brilliantly colored and carefully detailed multi-media
paintings that reflect the beauty of the world's oceans. He first refined
his natural talent through several years of collegiate art study, and
then continued his artistic growth by opening a successful commercial
design studio. The many years of intensive study and hard work allowed
Wilkie to explore a variety of techniques and develop a distinctive personal
style. Today his original paintings - ranging from small canvases to life-size
wall murals- grace museums, business offices and private collections and
Japan, Canada Europe and the United States. With subjects that range from
the majestic strength of a solitary wave to the playful charm of a dolphin
family, Wilkie exhibits an innate ability to channel his passion for the
environment into the medium of painting.
